Requirements

  • Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role within a game development team
  • Extensive experience in game development, with a strong understanding of game engines, tools, and technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex technical challenges. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with other departments
  • Ability to mentor and develop junior and mid-level developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of developers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure professional growth and project success
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of game features and systems, ensuring alignment with the project vision and goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, artists, and producers, to define, plan, and deliver high-quality game content
  • Conduct and facilitate code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and best practices within the team
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to game performance, stability, and functionality
  • Drive continuous improvement by staying current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and by implementing new tools and processes as needed
  • Ensure all development efforts adhere to company standards for quality, security, and compliance
  • Contribute to the overall game design and development strategy, providing technical insights and recommendations
