Summary
Join The Credit Pros as a 100% remote, full-time Technical Lead to contribute to the engineering future of a leading credit repair platform. Lead architecture and development of full-stack web applications using Laravel and React, design and optimize high-performance APIs, and build automated workflows. Mentor a growing team of engineers, guide deployment strategies, and ensure a secure development environment. The ideal candidate possesses 7+ years of full-stack development experience, strong API design skills, and experience with cloud deployments (AWS preferred). Requirements
- 7+ years of full stack development experience (Laravel + React required)
- Strong grasp of secure API design , modular architecture, and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience managing cloud deployments and infrastructure (AWS preferred)
- Familiarity with workflow automation tools and modern integration patterns
- Confidence in debugging, scaling, and refactoring real-world production apps
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in full stack or software development roles
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and development of full stack web applications (Laravel + React)
- Design and optimize APIs (REST & GraphQL) for high performance and clean integrations
- Build automated workflows using platforms like n8n , Pipedream , and custom logic
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes using AI-enhanced tooling and low-code connectors
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical outcomes
- Own security posture: implement secure auth flows, auditing, and compliance measures
- Guide deployment, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and rollback strategies
- Mentor and review code across a growing team of engineers
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven leadership in a team lead, tech lead, or mentoring capacity
- Experience driving project architecture from discovery to launch
- Strong documentation habits and ability to lead by example in code and process
- Comfort exploring and adopting modern AI tools for development (e.g., GitHub Copilot, GPT-based code generation, AI test writing)
- Eagerness to automate repeatable tasks and contribute to intelligent workflow design
- Always learning—on top of trends in AI-assisted dev, automation, and productivity tooling
- Proactive communicator who bridges the gap between product goals and technical implementation
- Self-starter who thrives in autonomy and doesn’t wait for instructions
- Business-aware thinker who understands the “why” behind the code
- Clean coder who values structure, security, and reliability
- Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity is a plus
- Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or Lean development environments
