Summary

Join Deel, a rapidly growing SaaS company transforming the global talent landscape, as a Security Manager. Lead and mentor a team of security architects and analysts, designing and implementing robust security architectures. Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and frameworks to protect company assets. Assess and mitigate security risks across various IT environments. Collaborate with IT, engineering, and business teams to integrate security into all phases of the system development lifecycle. Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management. Ensure compliance with relevant security frameworks and regulations. Respond to security incidents and provide mitigation strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven managerial experience , with a track record of successfully leading security teams
  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including security architecture and risk management
  • Strong understanding of security principles, frameworks, and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, and OWASP
  • Hands-on experience with security technologies, including SSE, intrusion detection systems, endpoint security, DLP, access controls, and SSPM
  • Expertise in identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security protocols
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Excellent English

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of security architects and analysts, ensuring efficient collaboration and professional development
  • Design and implement robust security architectures that align with industry standards and business needs
  • Develop security strategies, policies, and frameworks to protect enterprise assets, systems, and data
  • Assess and mitigate security risks across IT infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments
  • Work closely with IT, engineering, and business teams to ensure security is embedded into all phases of the system development lifecycle
  • Evaluate and recommend security tools, technologies, and solutions to enhance the organizationโ€™s security posture
  • Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management programs
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and other relevant security frameworks
  • Respond to security incidents, lead investigations, and provide mitigation strategies
  • Provide technical leadership in security design, threat modeling, and architecture reviews
  • Stay current with emerging threats, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve security measures

Preferred Qualifications

Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or TOGAF are highly desirable
