Requirements

• Proven experience in deploying, managing, and monitoring machine learning models in production environments at scale
• Advanced Python proficiency, including expertise in ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
• Proven ownership of high-impact machine learning systems or products and in-depth understanding of the ML lifecycle
• Strong technical leadership experience, especially in guiding engineering teams and leading technical projects
• Deep experience with feature engineering and/or feature store implementations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and influence technical decisions

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, robust, and efficient ML systems, from data ingestion to model serving and monitoring
• Develop and implement comprehensive monitoring frameworks to track models and ML systems' performance, identify potential issues and bottlenecks, and ensure optimal performance and health in production environments
• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Infrastructure teams, and clients to translate complex business problems into robust and impactful ML solutions
• Provide technical mentorship and direction to other engineers on the team, fostering their professional growth and promoting a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning
• Maintain clear and thorough documentation to support knowledge sharing and future development
• Design scalable model serving solutions for open-source and foundation models

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading remote teams
• Previous experience contributing to open source ML, MLOps, or data projects and communities
