Lead Mobile Software Engineer

This role requires expertise in both iOS and Android development, encompassing all aspects of engineering projects, from planning to execution. You will work alongside other project leads to define requirements, design solutions, and implement high-quality mobile applications. As a Lead Mobile Software Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality results and maintaining awareness of project budgets and timelines.

Requirements

• Remote; 40 hrs / wk; 9am - 5pm Eastern
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of experience in mobile development with expertise in both iOS and Android
• Proficiency in Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android) is required
• Strong understanding of iOS development, including Xcode and iOS frameworks
• Strong understanding of Android development, including Android Studio and Gradle
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and solve complex problems
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and deliver greater value to Mindgrub and its clients
• Actively participate in all aspects of engineering projects, from planning to execution
• Continuously learn and improve technical skills
• Maintain awareness of project budgets and timelines
• Take ownership of project deliverables, ensuring high-quality results
• Conduct peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Ensure adherence to Mindgrub’s standard processes throughout project lifecycles
• Interact with clients as needed to provide updates and technical insights
• Participate in the interview process for new candidates
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies, features, and solutions to enhance applications and anticipate future client needs
• Provide Level of Effort (LOE) estimates for tasks and project requirements
