Lead QA Automation Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a QA Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, owning the entire QA process and driving its continuous improvement. Design and implement effective testing strategies, perform manual and automated testing using Python, and collaborate with developers and stakeholders. Identify and resolve testing bottlenecks, proactively address challenges, and ensure high product quality. You will not only manage the team but also actively participate in daily testing activities. This role requires significant experience in software testing, including test automation with Python, and a proven ability to lead and mentor a team.

Requirements

• At least 6+ years of experience in software testing, including at least 4 years of hands-on experience in test automation ( Python )
• Leadership skills with a proven ability to guide, mentor, and motivate the QA Team to achieve high levels of performance and productivity
• Hands-on experience in payments/B2B testing
• Strong hands-on skills in manual testing and working with complex business logic
• Strong experience in performance and load testing
• Solid knowledge of the Kibana system, Postman, and API testing
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Allure reporting)
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Good communication skills in English and russian

• Leading and mentoring QA team
• Taking ownership of the entire QA process and ensuring its continuous improvement
• Designing and implementing effective testing strategies and plans
• Performing hands-on manual and automated testing (Python)
• Actively collaborating with developers, analysts, and other stakeholders throughout the development and release cycles
• Identifying bottlenecks and improving QA processes and workflows
• Proactively solving testing-related challenges and ensuring product quality
• Not only distributing tasks but also directly participating in day-to-day testing activities
