Remote Lead Security Analyst

Summary

Join Circle, a financial technology company at the epicenter of the emerging internet of money. In this role, you will design and execute a robust blockchain security assessment program, lead security risk assessments of blockchains, and provide security expertise to various enterprise teams. This position is eligible for day-one PERM sponsorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, computer engineering, cybersecurity or related field
• A technical understanding of a variety of blockchains - Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana are examples
• An ability to understand source code - e.g. Python, Rust
• 2+ years of working in blockchain security
• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, technology, or engineering
• Expertise communicating security risk to both technical and non-technical teams
• Ability to take a deep dive into technical controls to determine control effectiveness
• Experience working in financial services or other highly regulated industry

Responsibilities

• Design and execute a robust blockchain security assessment program
• Lead security risk assessments of blockchains
• Provide security expertise and risk mitigation recommendations to various enterprise teams
• Leverage technical understanding of various blockchains such as Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana etc to conduct blockchain security assessments
• Evaluate threat intelligence related to various blockchains and provide an impact assessment
• Engage with blockchain engineering teams and provide security recommendations
• Design and enhance Circle’s blockchain assessment program
• Perform security assessments of a defined portfolio of Circle’s third parties and provide and track risk mitigation measures
• Mentor and coach junior team members
• Provide metrics and reporting

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications such as CISSP, CTPRP, CISA, CISM, or similar will receive favorable consideration but are not required

Benefits

• Base Pay Range: $130,000-$170,000
• Annual Bonus Target: 15%
