Lead Software Engineer

Summary

Join Intermex Wire Transfer, a leading fintech company, as a Software Developer. You will provide technical leadership, mentoring teammates, and maintaining high software quality standards. Collaborate with a team to design, develop, test, and maintain web and desktop applications using Microsoft technologies. You will also participate in requirements gathering, documentation, and deployment. This role requires strong experience with Microsoft .NET, C#, and web development technologies. Bilingualism in Spanish and English is a must.

Requirements

• BA in Computer Science or another related field
• 8+ years’ experience as a Software Developer
• Prior experience in a technical leadership position
• Proficient with Microsoft .NET 4.5+ and .NET Core 3.1+ development using C#
• Experience with one or more web development technologies such as JavaScript, React, Angular, MAUI
• Experience with Azure
• Must be bilingual in Spanish and English!

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship
• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits. Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement
• Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web- and desktop-based business applications built on Microsoft technologies
• Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans
• Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software
• Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards
• Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code
• Package and support deployment of releases
• Work with teammates in the migration of legacy applications to current Microsoft technologies
• Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications
• Analyze and resolve technical and application problems

Master’s in computer science
