Lead Software Engineer

Summary

Join Multiplier, a rapidly growing SaaS company, as a Lead Software Engineer and play a pivotal role in developing our innovative global payroll platform. Lead parts of the product development from inception to launch, and own large parts of the product and its features. Collaborate closely with product and design teams to create exceptional customer experiences. Architect, build, test, and release high-quality features while automating non-essential tasks. Requirements

• 7 to 10 years of industry experience in a software engineering role with 1 to 2 years’ experience leading a team
• Demonstrate significant impact that your work has had on the product and/or the team
• Deep knowledge of a high-level programming language (Such as Java, JavaScript, Go, Python, etc.)
• Good understanding of web fundamentals (JavaScript/HTML/CSS) and exposure to one or more Front End stacks (such as React, VueJS, Svelte, Angular etc)
• Experience in working with cloud infrastructure on AWS, Google Cloud and the likes
• Willingness to quickly learn and use new technologies
• Extremely data-driven
• Work with and solve problems of very complex nature and enjoy doing it

Responsibilities

• Lead parts of the product development from inception to launch, and own large parts of the product and its features
• Work closely with our product and design teams to build products with the goal of delighting and increasing the success of our customers, in a very iterative fashion
• Architect, build, test, and release features with the highest quality
• Automate everything that an engineer should not work on

Preferred Qualifications

• Someone from a SaaS product background
• Experience in scalable distributed systems
