Summary

Epic is seeking a Lead UI Artist with 7+ years of experience in designing features and complex UI systems across multiple platforms to join their team and collaborate on several initiatives with Disney. The successful candidate will build and manage a team, work closely with game designers and other craft leads, and contribute to the new vision for various UI projects.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience working collaboratively to design features and complex UI systems through to completion across multiple platforms (mobile, web, PC, consoles)
• 7+ years of experience working in Agile environments and on multi-disciplinary teams
• 2-4 years of experience managing a team of 2-6 people or equivalent training
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and at least 5+ years of experience presenting to other team members and stakeholders
• Service-oriented, empathetic, and compassionate leader
• Skilled with Figma, the Adobe Suite, and prototyping software

Responsibilities

• Build and foster a team of UI designers (2-6)
• Work with Game Designers to translate goals and constraints into compelling user-facing experiences
• Collaborate with other UX/UI Craft leads to ensure great communication is happening and stronger cross-team relationships are built
