Join Invisible as a Lead Web & Marketing Graphic Designer and take ownership of high-level design initiatives defining our brand's presence and driving customer engagement. Partner with the VP of Brand & Communications and other key leaders to set design standards, coach junior team members, and shape Invisibleβs brand future. You will be responsible for solution delivery, client engagement, pre-sales support, and brand stewardship. This role requires extensive experience in graphic and UI/UX design, strong technical skills, and excellent communication and leadership abilities. Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years in graphic and UI/UX design, specifically within marketing and communications, with a focus on high-impact design projects that align with strategic business goals
- Team lead/management experience
- Demonstrated experience in defining project scope, setting timelines, managing resources, and ensuring on-time project delivery with attention to detail and quality
- Advanced proficiency in Figma
- Strong knowledge of CSS & HTML to implement interactive web elements
- Extensive experience creating and maintaining design systems to ensure visual consistency
- Proven ability in designing sophisticated collateral, pitch decks, and web pages, maintaining high standards of quality
- Proficiency with ticketing systems like Jira or ClickUp for managing design tasks and projects; familiarity with Asana, Trello, or similar project management tools
- Excellent communication skills for effectively articulating design concepts to stakeholders
- A strong creative and analytical approach to design challenges with attention to detail
- Ability to lead as the primary design contact for clients, conduct discovery workshops, and mentor junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of high-quality design solutions for marketing materials, pitch decks, and web pages, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client requirements
- Collaborate with marketers, content creators, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive and impactful design solutions
- Define project scope, set timelines, allocate resources, and oversee the execution of design projects to ensure timely and successful delivery
- Make strategic design decisions regarding typography, color, and imagery, aligning with web design best practices to maintain a consistent brand look and feel
- Serve as the primary design liaison for clients, translating their marketing needs into innovative and effective design solutions
- Conduct workshops and discovery sessions to gather detailed design requirements and provide expert guidance on user experience best practices
- Support the Sales and Customer Success teams by creating impactful presentations and proposals for potential clients and opportunities within existing accounts
- Clearly articulate the value of design solutions and address technical queries during the sales process
- Uphold and evolve Invisibleβs visual identity by managing brand documents and ensuring brand guideline adherence across all marketing and communication channels
- Work closely with the VP of Brand & Communications to enhance and expand brand guidelines
- Collaborate with wider marketing and technical teams, sharing best practices and design insights
- Coordinate with the product design team to align marketing/communications design with product design for consistency
- Mentor junior designers, fostering their growth and development within the design discipline
- Promote a collaborative and innovative team atmosphere, encouraging creative problem-solving and continuous learning
