Summary
Join Pearl Talent and work remotely as a full-time Legal Administrative Assistant for a US-based legal services firm. You will manage legal documents, draft correspondence, schedule meetings, and handle court filings. The role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in legal terminology. You will utilize various software tools and maintain confidentiality. Requirements

Responsibilities
- Manage and organize legal documents, correspondence, and case files
- Draft, proofread, and format legal letters, contracts, pleadings, and memos
- Schedule meetings, hearings, and deadlines for attorneys
- File and serve court documents in compliance with jurisdictional protocols
- Handle communication with clients, courts, and other law firms
- Manage inboxes, intake forms, and CRM tools (Clio, MyCase, etc.)
- Support attorneys with trial preparation and research organization
- Billing, timesheet reconciliation, and expense management
- Ensure all legal records are up to date and properly archived
- Familiarize with the firm’s document management and case management systems
- Organize and digitize current client files for improved retrieval
- Format, proofread, and send templated legal correspondences
- Create a calendar of upcoming court and client deadlines
- Schedule internal attorney-client calls
- Conduct data entry and billing reconciliation for the previous month’s activity
- Begin building and maintaining the case status tracking system
Preferred Qualifications
- Have a background working for US-based law firms
- Have familiarity with legal documentation for litigation, contracts, and real estate law
- Have strong written and spoken English
- Have high-speed internet and a quiet, professional home office setup
