Requirements

• Licensed in California as a Marriage Family Therapist, Social Worker, Professional Clinical Counselor, or Psychologist
• Master’s degree in social work or psychology; or equivalent education, training, and experience
• One year or more of direct clinical experience working with refugees

Responsibilities

• Provide culturally sensitive, client-centered individual, group, and family counseling and rehabilitation services to asylees and refugees
• Facilitate referrals to community resources and perform case management services
• Develop culturally relevant assessment and treatment plans
• Complete all documentation per Medi-Cal, Santa Clara County standards within expected deadlines
• Participate in clinical supervisions, consultations, team meetings, trainings, and on-call after hours rotation
• Complete and maintain LPS 5150 Authorization certification and provide officer of the day support
• Complete other related duties and projects as assigned
