Requirements
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC/LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Active state license in Texas or Virginia
- Strong clinical documentation, assessment, and active listening skills
- Experience with crisis intervention/de-escalation and safety/treatment planning
- Valid U.S. work authorization
Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic counseling services and treatment planning to a primarily young adult population
- Document concurrently and submit HIPAA compliant documentation using TimelyCare's electronic health record
- Develop and submit treatment plans and progress notes following each session
- Communicate cross-functionally with other teams/departments in order to support care continuation as needed
- Adhere to established standards for documentation quality and code of ethics
- Work with the student/client to establish and develop treatment goals and document accordingly
- Utilize active listening skills and evidence-based modalities (SFBT, CBT, DBT, MI, ACT) in order to build rapport, establish boundaries, and progress student/client care
- Submit appropriate documentation in the EHR (the TimelyCare platform) in a punctual manner
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, LP/LCP)
- Background in providing services to young adults, adolescents, at-risk populations, and/or experience working in community mental health, crisis triage, or a college counseling environment
