Summary

Join Mantra Health, a revolutionary student mental health care provider, as a fully remote Ohio Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Provide virtual therapy to college students, conducting high-quality psychiatric evaluations and medication management. You will perform biopsychosocial intakes, engage with patients through our collaboration portal, and collaborate with supervisors and campus treatment providers. This 1099 position offers flexible scheduling with a minimum 5-hour commitment, allowing you to set your own hours between 9 am and 9 pm ET weekdays or 9 am to 5 pm ET weekends. Compensation includes a competitive rate per session and additional pay for meetings. Requirements

• Hold a valid Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in Ohio
• Possess 1+ years of experience in an outpatient community mental health setting
• Expertise in treating common mental health conditions among college-aged students including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and substance use disorders
• Understand culturally responsive treatment and have experience with diverse patient groups
• Comfortable assessing the urgency of escalating risk scenarios
• Equipped with a quality video camera and a stable internet connection to facilitate virtual care

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality, culturally competent virtual psychiatric evaluations and medication management appointments
• Conduct biopsychosocial intakes focused on whole-person care with clear diagnostic assessments
• Engage with patients through our collaboration portal
• Collaborate with supervisors, peers, and on-campus treatment providers
• Document clinical encounters for effective care coordination
• Partner with our care navigation team to support students
• Collaborate with campus care teams to create longer-term treatment plans when necessary
