Remote Licensed Social Worker

Summary

Join our team as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide psychotherapy services and help high-risk offenders overcome psychological barriers, reducing recidivism and improving emotional well-being.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from a CSWE-accredited program in clinical social work
• Full, unrestricted license to practice clinical social work in the District of Columbia or a U.S. state
• Minimum of three years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker, preferably in a forensic or correctional setting
• Strong background in conducting cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and working with high-risk populations

Responsibilities

• Facilitate virtual/onsite group and individual psychotherapy sessions for high-risk offenders
• Develop and implement evidence-based cognitive behavioral interventions
• Conduct group therapy sessions with clearly defined goals, focusing on topics such as trauma, substance abuse, grief, and mental illness
• Document progress notes in the RSC SMART case management system
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards during all therapy sessions
• Collaborate with RSC staff to develop individualized treatment plans that address each resident’s specific needs
