Licensed Therapist, Counselor or Social Worker

Summary

The job is for a licensed mental health professional to provide short-term therapy and day-of care in various states. The position requires living in Colorado, Florida, Texas, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Illinois, or Missouri and covers evening shifts. The responsibilities include establishing rapport with patients, creating individualized treatment plans, providing brief therapy interventions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and more.

Requirements

• Masters in Mental Health (Social Work, Counseling, etc) required
• Active license required with a willingness to be licensed in multi-states (company paid)
• Social perceptiveness and empathy
• Ability to relate and communicate with diverse population and groups
• Empathy for clients
• Confidentiality with client information

Responsibilities

• Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients
• Create individualized treatment plans according to patient needs
• Short-term therapy, typically four to six sessions of therapy before providing a warm hand-off to a long-term local therapist
• Provide brief therapy interventions in a one-to-one or group setting
• Involve and advise family members when appropriate
• Research local support groups and other resources to determine which ones are right for individual patients
• Provide group psycho-education/treatment related to chronic medical conditions
• Crisis assessments/triage with appropriate interventions
• Provide mental health inquiries and needs via the Amaze Portal to include patients in crisis

Preferred Qualifications

This position will cover afternoons/evenings

Benefits

• Pay range is $80,000 to $95,000 annually depending on experience
• Salary: $60.00 to $70.00 an hour depending on experience and licensure
