HR Pros is seeking an LVN to assist RNs in patient care across various VA Locations. The ideal candidate should be dependable, compassionate, punctual, reliable, empathetic, and enjoy helping others. Responsibilities include patient care, medical needs, and professional development.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a nursing assistant course or the equivalent
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Excellent customer service skills
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds at times

Responsibilities

• Provide education to patients about their treatments
• Document patient care services and medical charting of medical records
• Check vital signs and weight
• Perform sugar and acetone urine testing and specimen collection
• Administer non-sterile dressings, surgical preps, ice packs, heat treatments, etc

Preferred Qualifications

Previous hospital experience with acceptable references preferred
