Summary
Join Stoneridge Software as a Licensing Team intern for a 12-week summer 2025 internship! Gain hands-on experience in Microsoft product sales operations, working with a fun team and developing sales, business development, and communication skills. Prepare sales quotes and proposals, respond to customer requests, place orders, schedule renewals, research licensing questions, manage the licensing queue, update the knowledge base, and help coordinate internal projects. Stoneridge offers a flexible, remote-forward work environment with opportunities for professional development, including covering the cost of a Microsoft certification exam. The internship is part of the North Dakota Commerce Operation Intern Program.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, Information Technology, or related field at a North Dakota College or University, and taking at least 6 credits during the internship or semester prior the internship is required
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude and curiosity to dig into & support projects

Responsibilities
- Prepare standard sales quotes and proposals for Microsoft cloud products
- Respond to customer requests to add products to their Microsoft subscriptions
- Place standard customer orders for Independent Software Vendor (ISV) products
- Schedule changes to annual renewals in the Microsoft Partner Center portal at client request
- Research complex licensing questions from customers, leveraging tools such as Microsoft Copilot
- Assist in managing the internal team's licensing queue by assigning cases to the appropriate rep
- Update, organize, and maintain the internal team's central Knowledge base as needed
- Help coordinate internal projects (e.g., tool rollouts, case templates, tracking discounts, etc.)
- Encouraged to pursue a Microsoft certification during the internship, with Stoneridge covering the exam fee
