Summary
Join Donegal Insurance Group as a Licensing Specialist and maintain accurate licensing records for agencies and producers. You will be responsible for timely submission of licensing materials to state agencies, ensuring compliance with all regulations. This role requires effective communication with various stakeholders and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A minimum of two years of experience in a highly regulated environment and an Associate's Degree are required. Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years previous work experience in a highly regulated environment and or industry
- Associates Degree with a background in insurance or related industry experience required
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to accurately complete assigned tasks on a timely basis
- Ability to maintain professionalism at all times
- Ability to learn and retain information relating to job functions
- Computer skills to include: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Accurate and expeditious keyboarding/typing skills
Responsibilities
- To license, appoint, and terminate agencies and producers in an assigned group of states
- To assist with licensing, appointing, and terminations in other states as needed
- To complete licensing, appointing, and termination tasks in a timely manner
- Effectively communicate with and obtain necessary information from RVPs, BRMs, and agency personnel in a professional, accurate and timely manner
- Obtain resident producer license in within first year of employment
- Obtain AINS designation within second year of employment
- Obtaining other designations is encouraged
- Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements to ensure high quality service
- Accurately communicate information to internal and/or external customers
- Provide timely, courteous, and quality assistance to other departments as needed
- Pro-actively coordinate work with others in support of department and company goals and objectives
