Summary
The job is for a Licensing team member who will initiate and facilitate licensing activities for new and existing clinicians, perform 'white glove' licensing, ensure successful completion of licensing plans, maintain accurate clinician information, provide logistical support to clinical teams, find innovative solutions to problems, communicate risks and milestones to leadership, and work effectively in a team environment. The candidate must have at least 2 years of experience directly licensing clinicians, excellent communication skills, ability to handle confidential information, strong results orientation, independent problem-solving skills, and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience directly licensing clinicians, preferably medical license types (eg. MD/DO, NP)
- Excellent skills in oral and written communication, and cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to work with highly confidential information is required
- Meticulous about details and learns from every mistake so that they donβt happen twice
- Strong results orientation
- Independent problem solving & decision making skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at a time
- Candidates must be service oriented, self-confident, and dependable
- Must work with a high sense of urgency in a fast paced environment
- Must be effective and efficient working in a team environment
- Adept at identifying opportunities for improvement and speaking up when they are found
Responsibilities
- Initiate and facilitate licensing activities for new and existing clinicians of all types, with an emphasis on nurse practitioners
- Perform βwhite gloveβ licensing on behalf of clinicians
- Ensure successful completion of licensing plans assigned to clinicians and appropriately escalate issues that jeopardize this success
- Support accurate maintenance of clinician information necessary to meet regulatory and partner obligations
- Provide logistical support for clinical team members, partnering closely with clinical care liaisons
- Find innovative ways to solve problems and iterate on existing processes
- Communicate risks, obstacles and milestones to leadership
