LiDAR Data Technician

Summary

Join Intetics Inc., a global technology company, as a LiDAR Data Technician. Process LiDAR point clouds using TerraScan and MicroStation, performing 2D and 3D feature extraction and vectorization. Requirements

• Experience working with CAD files
• Basic understanding of GIS and coordinate systems
• Ability to read and understand English-language instructions and documentation
• Familiarity with or interest in LiDAR technology and point cloud data

Responsibilities

• Process LiDAR point clouds using TerraScan and MicroStation
• Perform 2D and 3D feature extraction and vectorization
• Interpret spatial and geospatial data with a focus on accuracy
• Conduct quality control checks and implement corrections
• Follow documentation and workflows provided in English
• Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and project standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MicroStation and TerraScan (even at basic level)
• Degree or courses in GIS, geodesy, cartography, or related fields
