Requirements

  • 5+ Proven experience in lien negotiations in personal injury
  • In-depth knowledge of medical billing, statutory liens (Medicare, Medicaid, ERISA), and negotiation strategies
  • Outstanding leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor a team of medical lien negotiators to ensure effective negotiation practices and strategies are employed
  • Oversee, review, and approve lien negotiation agreements and settlements to ensure they align with the firm's standards and client objectives
  • Conduct frequent training sessions for staff on best practices in lien negotiations, updates in laws, and changes in medical billing processes
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to develop comprehensive lien negotiation strategies tailored to individual cases
  • Monitor and analyze lien negotiation metrics and adjust strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory or managerial experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish
