Linguistics Consultant - AI Tutor

Summary

Join Mindrift, a platform connecting specialists with AI projects, as an AI Tutor in Linguistics. You'll collaborate on projects aimed at improving the reasoning capabilities of GenAI models. Your responsibilities will include generating prompts to challenge the AI, defining scoring criteria to evaluate its accuracy, and correcting its responses based on your linguistic expertise. This freelance role is fully remote, allowing you to work on your own schedule and contribute to projects aligned with your skills.

Requirements

• You have a Master’s degree or PhD in Linguistics
• You have professional experience in the following subdomains within Linguistics: General Linguistics, Theoretical Linguistics, Psycholinguistics, Neurolinguistics, Second Language Acquisition, Sociolinguistics, Computational Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, Historical Linguistics, Anthropological Linguistics, Comparative Linguistics, Forensic Linguistics, Corpus Linguistics, Dialectology, Phonetics and Phonology, Pragmatics, Lexicography, Language Documentation, Language Typology, Cognitive Linguistics, Language Evolution, Language Policy and Planning, Sign Linguistics
• Your level of English is advanced (C1) or above
• You are ready to learn new methods, able to switch between tasks and topics quickly and sometimes work with challenging, complex guidelines

Responsibilities

• Generate prompts that challenge AI
• Define comprehensive scoring criteria to evaluate the accuracy of the AI’s answers
• Correct the model’s responses based on your domain-specific knowledge
