Requirements

• Have several years of experience in the administration of Linux systems and in-depth knowledge in the area of storage and backup
• Have a structured and analytical working method as well as a solution-oriented approach to challenges
• Have good communication skills in German and English (at least B2)

Responsibilities

• Administer and further develop our Linux-based systems, focusing on the integration and optimization of storage and backup solutions
• Configure and maintain storage infrastructures, including Fibre Channel SAN, to ensure efficient data storage and availability
• Implement and maintain backup solutions with PowerProtect Data Manager, Data Domain, and Vault to guarantee data protection and recovery
• Automate storage and backup processes and optimize the existing infrastructure
• Independently analyze and resolve problems in the areas of Linux, storage, and backup in case of errors
• Support the team in the introduction of new technologies and contribute to smooth IT operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Ideally, you have experience with Fibre Channel SAN, but you are also familiar with other storage solutions (e.g., iSCSI, NFS)
• Knowledge of backup technologies such as PowerProtect Data Manager, Data Domain, and Vault is advantageous, but not absolutely necessary
