Summary
Join Multiplier as the Offboarding and Litigation Counsel (NAMER) and manage all aspects of employee offboarding and litigation for Multiplier's entities and subsidiaries. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, mitigate legal risks, and provide expert legal counsel. Key responsibilities include managing employee offboarding processes, litigation management, providing legal counsel on employment law, developing compliance policies, conducting internal investigations, representing the company with regulatory authorities, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws. This role requires a Juris Doctor (JD) degree, bar admission in at least one NAMER state, and 5+ years of experience in employment law and litigation. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential. Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the bar in at least one state in the NAMER region
- 5+ years of experience in employment law and litigation, ideally in the NAMER region
- Strong knowledge of employment law, including Title VII, ADA, and FMLA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of employee offboarding, including conducting exit interviews, preparing separation agreements, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Manage all aspects of litigation, including reviewing pleadings, conducting discovery with outside counsel
- Provide legal counsel on all aspects of employment law, including hiring, firing, and employee relations
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Conduct internal investigations into employee complaints and other legal matters
- Represent the company in interactions with regulatory authorities
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable laws and regulations in the NAMER region
- Manage outside counsel
