Litigation Associate (Warranty)

Summary

The job is for an Associate with 2+ years of experience to join a Litigation Business Unit of an AmLaw 200 law firm in Southern California. The Associate will work on defending automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealers in warranty actions. Candidates must have civil litigation and automobile warranty defense experience, trial/arbitration preparation skills, exceptional advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation skills, strong academic credentials, detail-oriented nature, good interpersonal and communication skills, and be licensed with the California Bar.

Requirements

• Civil litigation and automobile warranty defense experience
• Experience with the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act
• Trial/arbitration preparation and courtroom experience, including motion practice, deposition, and mediation
• Exceptional advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation skills
• Strong academic credentials
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with a solid work ethic
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar

Responsibilities

Work exclusively on a team defending automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealers in warranty actions

Benefits

• Salary range: $140,000 - $160,000 annually
