LLM Teacher

Summary

Join Perplexity, a rapidly growing company building the next generation answer engine, as an LLM teacher. You will evaluate AI-generated content, review the work of others, and create original content. This contract role offers flexible hours based on project length and pays $30 USD per hour for an expected 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate possesses strong writing skills, a critical eye, and professional writing experience. Interest in AI and machine learning is a plus, as is fluency in additional languages.

Requirements

• Enrolled in or have completed an Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
• Native-level fluency in English
• Possess a strong writing style with excellent English-language spelling and grammar skills
• Have a critical eye and the ability to clearly articulate the strengths and weaknesses of written text
• Professional writing experience as a researcher, journalist, technical writer, editor, or similar roles
• Interest in AI and machine learning concepts
• Must have one or more of the following: Native-level fluency in one or more of the following languages: Japanese, Korean, German, French
• Proven background in data science or coding

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated writing based on guidelines assessing helpfulness, factuality, etc
• Review the work of other teachers
• Produce top-tier original content in response to prompts

Preferred Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in one or more of the following languages: Japanese, Korean, German, French
• Proven background in data science or coding
