Summary

Join METRO, a leading international wholesale company, as a Logistics Assistant in Budaörs. You will be responsible for cost calculation of delivery processes, coordinating with suppliers, managing logistics contracts, and resolving supply chain issues. The role requires a secondary education, experience in supplier communication, and basic computer skills. English communication skills are needed. Requirements

• Have secondary (specialized) education - matriculation, vocational training, OKJ
• Have practical experience in communicating with suppliers
• Have user-level computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Use English at a communicative level (mainly in writing)
• Excellent communication skills and problem-solving attitude
• You enjoy working in a team, but also enjoy working independently
• You have an analytical mind

Responsibilities

• Calculate the cost of delivery processes through the central warehouse
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding logistics processes
• Maintain and supervise logistics contracts, monitor profitability
• Support and forward the resolution of supply problems arising from transport (minimum order quantities, frequency, time gates) to the relevant colleagues
• Handle supplier penalties
• EKÁER administration

Preferred Qualifications

• Have higher education
• Have previous experience in logistics
• Have experience with supply processes in a multinational environment
