Lower Elementary Math Teacher

Summary

Join Think Academy US as a Remote Math Teacher (Pre-K to Grade 2)! This full-time, 40-hour/week contractor position offers flexible remote work. You will prepare and teach online math classes, conduct student evaluations, grade homework, and communicate with parents. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree (STEM or Education preferred), prior teaching experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for working with children. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Availability and willingness to work full-time from Wednesday to Sunday starting February 2025
• Passionate about teaching, responsible, and enthusiastic about working with children
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with parents
• High-energy, enthusiastic, and charismatic with the ability to engage and excite children effectively!

Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach online math classes for students on a weekly basis (5-7 classes = approximately 7-15 hours/week)
• Participate in paid teaching assistant work by attending classes and learning from experience lead teachers' teaching methods
• Conduct 1on1 evaluations with new students to help them enroll in the correct classes (5-10 hours/week)
• Grade homework and communicate with parents weekly to update them on students' learning progress and areas for improvement (5-7 hours/week)
• Other work assigned by teaching management team

Preferred Qualifications

• Education or STEM-related majors
• Prior math teaching experience
