Summary

Join TrueCar's Machine Learning and Data Engineering team as a Machine Learning Engineer to develop cutting-edge machine learning solutions for the automotive shopping experience. This role requires expertise in Python, AWS SageMaker, ML frameworks, and distributed systems. Requirements

  • Demonstrated work experience implementing machine learning models using Python and AWS SageMaker
  • Advanced Python programming skills
  • Proven software development experience
  • Strong background in algorithms, data structures, and ranking infrastructures
  • Experience with ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
  • Distributed systems experience (Elastic Search)
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to fuse ideas from business issues to machine learning solutions. You will create models that drive real value for consumers
  • Solve moderately complex problems with multilayered data sets and optimize existing machine learning libraries and frameworks
  • Write high-quality code
  • Deploy machine learning models into production, ensuring they meet performance, latency, memory, and throughput requirements
  • Identify issues and differences in data distribution that could potentially affect model performance
  • Stay up to date with developments in machine learning technology and proactively share best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • ML Ops experience: deploying machine learning models to production
  • Solid understanding of Recommendation Systems
  • Passion for working with cutting-edge Gen AI technologies
