Requirements
- Comprehensive understanding of classical machine learning techniques
- Experience with big data technologies for end-to-end ML product development
- Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP), especially transformer-based approaches is a plus
- Proficiency in Python. Experience in async programming in Python
- Skilled in developing and maintaining analytical dashboards for business and ML metrics
- Practical experience in designing, developing, and maintaining real-time services
- Excellent English communication skills
- Passion for helping others grow and succeed as developers
- Data-driven mindset with a passion for experimenting and using customer feedback to drive decision-making
- Strong strategic planning and prioritization skills
- Continuous learning and tracking of recent advancements in the field of AI and ML
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy robust ML systems for personalized shopping experiences with the AI Shopping Assistant
- Design and deliver products utilizing novel GenAI-based approaches, such as RAG and LLM Agents, to satisfy customer needs and drive revenue growth in an efficient manner
- Develop approaches for the evaluation and optimization of LLM-based pipelines to ensure a solid foundation for improving business KPIs by validating hypotheses
- Optimize open-source LLMs to achieve high-quality performance in a narrow domain, enabling the use of these models without relying on large proprietary ones
- Participate in strategic planning, brainstorming & prioritization sessions to improve the product
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical business partners to develop analytical dashboards that describe the impact of the product to stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience optimizing and deploying open-source LLMs for domain-specific applications
- Proficient in server-side coding for web services and understanding API design principles
- Experience with both NoSQL and relational databases, distributed systems, and caching solutions
- Hands-on experience with Docker for services provisioning
- Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, and integrating alert systems like PagerDuty
