Summary

Join Talentus, a US company with a global presence, as a Machine Learning Engineer! You will design, develop, and implement machine learning models for healthcare data, deploy models into production, and collaborate with data scientists and clients. Responsibilities include data preprocessing, performance monitoring, and documentation. You will stay current with advancements in machine learning and provide expert advice to clients. Requirements

  • Requires prior development experience with R, Python, Java or other analytics/data mining tools, databases, and computer programming
  • Practical fluency and working proficiency in the application of a broad array of statistical methods such as description and inferential statistics, multivariate regression, clustering, neural networks, predictive modeling, forecasting, machine learning, text mining, and optimization algorithms
  • Requires prior experience in building and deploying predictive models and other analytic assets
  • Requires prior experience in SQL/Database programming such as stored procedures, functions, temporary tables, parameterization, complex joins, and groupings
  • Extensive data modeling and data architecture skills
  • Background in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or Keras
  • Knowledge of Cloud Computing or another distributed computing system
  • Strong written and verbal communications
  • English C1 or above is required
  • Advanced degree in computer science, math, statistics or a related discipline
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Superior communication skills and ability to tailor written and spoken language to a broad variety of potential stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Model Development: Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and algorithms tailored to healthcare data and client needs
  • Deployment: Deploy machine learning models into production environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
  • Data Preprocessing: Collaborate with data engineers to preprocess and clean data, ensuring high-quality inputs for model training and validation
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor model performance and conduct regular maintenance to ensure accuracy and effectiveness over time
  • Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, healthcare experts, and client teams to understand requirements and deliver customized solutions
  • Documentation: Document methodologies, processes, and model configurations to ensure transparency and reproducibility
  • Innovation: Stay current with the latest research and advancements in machine learning, AI, and healthcare analytics to continuously improve and innovate solutions
  • Consultation: Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients on the application of machine learning in healthcare settings

  • Ability to inspire a followership and mobilize change agents that act as multipliers and foster the mindset
  • Ability to assess stakeholders' training needs, and address them through coaching ("train the trainer") in inclusive and collaborative ways
