Machine Learning Engineer Intern

Summary

XPeng Motors is a leading smart electric vehicle company seeking a Machine Learning Intern for fall 2024 to work on foundation models and autonomous driving. The intern will design deep learning algorithms, adopt the latest machine learning advancements, and collaborate with developers to ship impactful software. A PhD in Computer Science or related fields, experience with CNNs/RNNs and LLMs/LVMs, excellent programming skills, and familiarity with a machine learning development framework are required.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
• Experience in working with CNNs/RNNs and LLMs/LVMs
• Excellent programming skills and knowledge of Python or C++
• Familiar with one machine learning development framework such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, MXNet
• Able to do full-time internship in fall 2024

Responsibilities

• Design deep learning algorithms that can leverage the vast amount of labeled and unlabeled data from a fleet of million vehicles
• Adopt the latest research advancement in machine learning into production, especially areas such as foundation models, semantic understanding, large language/vision models, few/zero-shot learning
• Work with software developers and algorithm developers to ship impact to our product
