Summary

The job is for a part-time Machine Learning instructor at FourthBrain, a company backed by AI Fund. The role involves delivering live class sessions, providing feedback to students, managing classroom tools and environments, developing student assignments, teaching materials, and holding office hours. Experience in the AI industry, communication skills, and technical coding skills are required.

Requirements

• Professional experience in Machine Learning, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and/or MLOps
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Interest in student engagement, motivation, and teaching

Responsibilities

• Deliver live class session(s) for a total of 5-6 hours each week
• Provide feedback to students on their assignments and projects, either asynchronously or in calls/meetings
• Manage classroom tools and environments
• Develop student assignments
• Develop teaching materials like slides, code samples, discussion prompts, etc
• Hold office hours (60-90 mins) a week, which could be on evenings and weekends, to assist students with their weekly work

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as an instructor or lecturer in the areas of AI, machine learning, data science, robotics or similar
• Academic experience in these areas is nice but not required
• Experience with instructional design best practices as well as experience designing and teaching technical courses
