Machine Learning Intern

Join PhotoShelter's AI team as a Machine Learning Intern for a part-time, remote role (20 hours/week) from June to August 2025. Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in in Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
• Basic understanding of machine learning concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, and deep learning

Responsibilities

• Data Preparation: Clean, preprocess, and analyze datasets to ensure they are ready for modeling and analysis
• Model Development: Collaborate with senior ML engineers to design, build, and train machine learning models using tools such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or other relevant frameworks
• Experimentation and Iteration: Conduct experiments to optimize model performance, explore new techniques, and refine approaches based on project requirements
• Documentation and Communication: Document your work, share insights, and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and apply new knowledge to enhance project outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

• Passion for sports or photography
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Prior coursework or projects involving machine learning, data analysis, or AI
• Familiarity with AWS
