Requirements
- PhD in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field with a strong emphasis on cancer epi/genomics with 6-10 years of experience post-PhD
- Deep understanding of core ML models, including generalized linear models, kernel methods, tree-based algorithms, and neural networks and contrastive learning
- Hands-on experience developing and applying deep learning models, large language models (LLMs), and multimodal foundation models
- Proficient in Python and its scientific computing stack (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn)
- Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX; familiarity with LLM-specific tools like LangChain; and model deployment via platforms like HuggingFace
- Strong cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines
- High scientific rigor and a growth mindset; eager to both teach and learn new computational and biological concepts
Responsibilities

- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and scientific excellence
- Work closely with molecular biologists and clinical scientists to solve challenging problems
