Machine Learning/ML Engineer (Mid)

Join EXUS AI Labs, the R&D department of EXUS, as a Mid-Level Machine Learning/ML Engineer. This fully remote position offers the chance to contribute to large-scale research and innovation projects in various sectors. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, designing and developing AI solutions, applying machine learning algorithms, and performing statistical analysis. The ideal candidate possesses a BSc in a relevant field, 3-5 years of experience in application development, and expertise in Python and machine learning frameworks. Requirements

• BSc degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar field
• An MSc degree
• Proven working experience, 3 to 5 years, on application development project(s)
• Good knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics, and computational algorithms
• Good understanding of data structures and data modeling
• Expertise in data analysis and visualization
• Proven experience in Python
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, pandas, scikit-learn)
• Good knowledge of Git
• Experience with REST-API design and implementation

Responsibilities

• AI solution definition & architecture design (technical requirements definition, data requirements definition)
• Applying Machine Learning algorithms and techniques, building and maintaining end-to-end solutions
• Statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results
• Collaboration with data scientists and software engineers to build and maintain data and model pipelines
• Providing solutions to any technical issues regarding AI during a project’s lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarisation with application containers (Docker)
• Familiarization with event-driven processes
• Working experience in Research / H2020 Projects
• Excellent knowledge of the English language (both verbal & written)
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
• Team player, self-motivated, constantly seeking new knowledge
• Ability to travel (up to 5% of total working time, in European destinations)
• Fulfilled military obligations for male candidates
