Requirements

• Experience in the operation of z/OS Backup Hardware (Tape robots, disks etc.)
• Very good product knowledge of / RMM, HSM etc
• Experience in project management
• Experience with working in a team
• Good language skills in English

Responsibilities

• Support customer-oriented z/OS systems
• Participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of system standards
• Provide technical project and pre-sales support
• Support Disaster Recovery test actions
• Create technical concepts in collaboration with the Service Delivery Management
• Maintain customer-specific documentation (customer operation handbooks)
• 2nd & 3rd level support z/OS operating system
• 2nd Level Performance Management
• Operational changes / adjustments to system parameters
• Operational changes / adjustments in production Responsible
• Storage Tape Hardware (VSM, VTS, DLm)
• Parameterization of Backup Software (f.e. Tape robot control, backup methods)
• System Backups
