Manager Accountant/ Controller

Summary

The Manager Accountant/Controller is a remote position responsible for managing accounting processes, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closures. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of accounting concepts, problem-solving skills, data mining abilities, and excellent communication and project management skills. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting with 7-8 years of relevant work experience or a CPA with exposure to US GAAP and 3-5 years of relevant work experience is required. SAP experience and the ability to handle offshore teams are preferred.

• Solid understanding of accounting concepts and processes
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Detail-oriented with strong data mining skills
• Hands-on self-starter with a strong desire to promote and implement continuous improvement opportunities
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for Senior Management presentations
• Strong project management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Energetic and able to work in a team-oriented environment
• Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Accounting with 7-8 years of relevant work experience OR - 7-8
• CPA with exposure to US GAAP and 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience - 10

Manage accounting processes, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closures

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP experience is desirable
• Exposure to handling offshore teams is desirable
• Exposure to IFRS is an added advantage - 10
