Jobber is seeking a Manager, Analytics Engineering to lead its Analytics Engineering function. Requirements
- Bachelor/Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven hands on experience in data engineering, analytics, or business intelligence, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and deliver results on time (Project Management Experience)
- The ability to be agile in an agile environment
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to recruit, develop, motivate and mentor a team of data engineers, data scientists, and data analyst professionals
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analytics engineers
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable data architectures and pipelines to support business intelligence and analytics needs
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales, to understand their data requirements and deliver relevant tables and insights
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of analytics tools and platforms
- Create and manage dashboards, reports, and data visualizations alongside your team, to provide clear and actionable insights to stakeholders at all levels
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
- Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
