Summary

The NOC Manager (Third shift) is responsible for supervising the 24x7 monitoring of Sinch's network, managing tickets, generating reports, software upgrades and patches, interacting with customers, vendors, and carriers, coordinating testing, fostering knowledge sharing, providing training, and meeting KPIs. The required education and experience includes 5 years' managerial/supervisory experience, effective leadership skills, 5 years' experience with telephony switch maintenance, working knowledge of switches and other telecommunication devices, working knowledge of routers, switches and SIP, highly proficient in MS Software application, Excel, Word and Access, Sonus training certificates or similar military or industry experience, experience with switch operational measurement reports. Requirements

  • 5 years’ managerial/supervisory experience
  • Effective leadership skills
  • 5 years’ experience with telephony switch maintenance
  • Working knowledge of switches and other telecommunication devices
  • Working knowledge of routers, switches and SIP
  • Highly proficient in MS Software application, Excel, Word and Access
  • Strong Unix skills

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the 24x7 monitoring of all components of Sinch's network
  • Manage tickets in the TaSC database; implement standardization for security and log classing
  • Generate reports required for traffic and service analysis
  • Responsible for software upgrades and patches on various nodes in the network
  • Interact with customers, carriers and vendors in resolving trouble tickets and deploying new equipment
  • Coordinate testing for specific offices and projects as needed
  • Foster an environment of knowledge sharing within the NOC and all IQNT personnel
  • Complete alternate assignments as required
  • Provide training as necessary
