Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in data science with a strong focus on monetization. Experience in ad tech, programmatic advertising, search and recommendation systems is a strong plus
- 3+ years of experience leading and scaling data science teams
- Deep expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and applied data analytics. Proficiency in Python, as well as SQL
- Strong understanding of privacy-preserving technologies and how they can be applied within advertising or monetization contexts
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A collaborative mindset and a track record of influencing cross-functional teams and senior leaders
Responsibilities
- Lead and scale a high-performing data science team, driving strategy and execution across monetized features and surfaces
- Balance business goals and user trust by defining a monetization framework that supports privacy and user-first principles
- Translate data into impact through deep analysis, clear insights, and the development of metrics, dashboards, and self-serve reporting tools that enable stakeholders to make informed decisions
- Drive measurement rigor by designing and evolving experimentation and evaluation frameworks for testing and optimizing monetization features
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Advertising teams to define and deliver on our product and monetization roadmap
