Manager, Security Engineering

Summary

Join Garner, a rapidly growing healthcare company, as a Security Engineering Manager. You will be responsible for the tactical delivery and operations of the security program, maintaining compliance accreditations, developing the security team, and establishing quality processes for security controls. This fully remote position reports to the VP of Information Security and offers a competitive salary ($220,000 - $250,000) and benefits package. The ideal candidate will have extensive security engineering and management experience, relevant industry accreditations, and a strong ability to communicate technical concepts. Requirements

• 6+ years of hands on security engineering experience, including data and cloud security
• 2+ years of hands on security/engineering management experience
• Relevant industry accreditations, including (or similar to) CISSP
• Demonstrated ability to communicate security engineering concepts to stakeholders
• A willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and do whatever is necessary to ensure company success
• Experience working in a rapidly evolving startup environment
• A desire to be a part of our mission to improve the U.S. healthcare system
• Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Garner does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time

Responsibilities

• The tactical delivery, execution, and operations of the security program and its controls
• Maintaining required compliance accreditations
• Retaining and developing the engineers on the security team
• Establishing quality processes that aid and ease the adoption of security controls
