Responsibilities

• Lead the SecOps team in safeguarding the organization’s digital infrastructure
• Drive operational excellence, risk mitigation, and innovation in security practices
• Align security practices with broader business goals
• Hire, mentor, and manage the performance of Security Operations (SecOps) team members
• Plan and execute changes within the SecOps team and across departments
• Engage in constructive, cross-functional conversations and communicate effectively with clients
• Design and implement operational processes and manage to defined metrics
• Possess expertise in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and cloud security architecture
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of risk management, threat modeling, and regulatory compliance
• Maintain exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Exhibit a strategic mindset with the ability to balance technical depth and business impact
• Stay current with cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Hold CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certifications
• Hold Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate certification
• Hold GIAC Security Operations Certified (GSOC) certification
• Hold Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification
• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
• Possess 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Have proven experience leading a Security Operations (SecOps) team
• Demonstrate strong project management skills
• Show a demonstrated ability to engage in constructive, cross-functional conversations and communicate effectively with clients
• Have experience designing and implementing operational processes and managing to defined metrics
• Show expertise in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and cloud security architecture
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of risk management, threat modeling, and regulatory compliance
• Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Exhibit a strategic mindset with the ability to balance technical depth and business impact
