Summary
Join Rescale, Inc. as a Manager, Support Engineer in Draper, UT! This fully remote position offers a competitive salary ($101,462.00-$150,000.00/year). You will provide technical support to customers using the Rescale platform, leveraging your expertise in high-performance computing, simulation applications, and cloud computing. Responsibilities include resolving customer support requests, developing best practice recommendations, escalating issues to relevant teams, and creating documentation and tutorials. The ideal candidate possesses a Master's degree in a related field and extensive experience with computer-aided engineering software, high-performance computing simulations, Linux environments, and cloud computing. A successful competency-based interview is required.
Requirements
- Masterβs degree in mechanical engineering, computer engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience with computer-aided engineering software and high performance computing
- 5 years of experience with computational fluid dynamics or finite element analysis
- 5 years of experience with setting up, executing, and interpreting results from high-performance computing simulations in an engineering discipline such as computational fluid dynamics or finite element analysis
- 3 years of experience with configuring, troubleshooting, testing, and optimizing a high performance computing Linux environment
- 3 years of experience with creating automated computing tools such as shell scripts to streamline the execution and processing of large numbers of batch compute jobs
- 3 years of experience with providing technical support
- 3 years of experience with cloud computing and Linux systems administration
- Must successfully complete competency-based interview
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers using the Rescale platform by applying expertise in high performance computing, simulation applications, cloud computing, networking, and other technologies
- Resolve customer support requests through email ticketing system and live support chat
- Develop best practice recommendations through testing and benchmarking
- Escalate bugs and platform issues to HPC, engineering and product teams
- Create documentation and tutorials for platform features and HPC applications
