Summary

Join Samsara, a leader in the Connected Operations™ Cloud, as a Managing Sales Director! This remote position, based in the Southeastern US, requires up to 50% travel. You will lead and develop a strategic sales team, implementing effective coaching and collaborating with executive leadership. You'll champion Samsara's cultural principles and ensure performance objectives are met. This role demands significant experience in technology sales and team management. Requirements

  • 8+ years of technology sales experience
  • 3+ years experience directly managing, motivating, and building a quota carrying enterprise field sales team
  • Proven track record of quota attainment and over-achievement
  • Solid understanding of SFDC and accurate forecasting methodology

Responsibilities

  • Implement effective coaching and development of Field Sales Representatives
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop performance metrics
  • Coordinate the involvement of Field Sales Engineers and support teams so that performance objectives and customers’ expectations are consistently met
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
  • Hire, develop and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high performing team
