Summary

A fast-growing digital marketing agency is seeking an experienced COO to oversee operations, build high-performing teams, drive business growth, manage client relations, and implement strategic plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital advertising, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in operational excellence.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in digital advertising or a related field, with a focus on performance marketing
  • Proven track record in a senior leadership role, preferably as a COO or similar position
  • Demonstrated experience in building and managing high-performing teams, including hiring, training, and performance management
  • Proven experience in managing and growing high-performing teams in a remote environment
  • Extensive experience in client relationship management, with a focus on ensuring client satisfaction and driving business growth
  • Strong background in operational management, including process optimization, KPI monitoring, and financial oversight
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive business growth and improve service offerings
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address and resolve complex issues efficiently and effectively
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the use of analytics tools to drive data-driven decision-making
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Deep understanding of Meta and TikTok advertising platforms and familiarity with financial management software and tools
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees or certifications in digital marketing, business administration, or related fields are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the agency, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all departments
  • Implement and optimize processes to improve productivity and scalability
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure business goals are met and exceeded
  • Lead recruitment efforts to build out high-performing teams that support clients' needs
  • Develop and implement training programs to foster professional growth and development
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture
  • Collaborate with the founder to develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Address and resolve any client issues or concerns promptly and effectively
  • Oversee people management - ensuring that teams that are built out are exceeding client KPI targets
  • Collaborate with the founder to develop and execute the agency's strategic vision and growth plans
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential areas for expansion
  • Lead initiatives to improve service offerings and enhance competitive positioning in the market
  • Implement cost-control measures and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the agency at the forefront of digital advertising
  • Implement innovative solutions to enhance service delivery and client performance
