Join Think Academy, a global online education company, as a full-time Math Teacher at our Malaysia hub. This on-site role involves delivering engaging math lessons using our provided curriculum to online students. Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree or higher
- Fluent in English (with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both spoken and written forms)
- Proficient in Mandarin β both written and spoken
- Must be available and willing to work late evenings (online) and weekends
Responsibilities
- Teach mathematics remotely using the Think Academy Teaching Platform
- Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons based on Think Academy's curriculum and instructional guidance
- Foster a positive and inclusive online classroom environment for up to 18 students, encouraging active participation and collaborative learning
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing timely, personalized feedback to both students and parents
- Grade homework assignments and offer additional academic support as needed
- Participate in other teaching-related activities, including but not limited to conducting diagnostic assessments for new students
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred Majors : Open to all majors, with a preference for Education or STEM-related fields
- Teaching Experience : Prior experience in teaching mathematics is not required but is a plus. Experience in teaching or participating in elementary math competitions is also beneficial
- Passion for Education : Highly passionate about teaching and the education industry, with a strong sense of responsibility and a genuine love for working with children. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building strong relationships with students and parents
