Requirements

• Clinical background preferred, such as a licensed nurse or similar, to facilitate the understanding and evaluation of clinical records
• Experience as a File Assessor or a similar role involving document review and data entry is a plus
• Familiarity with completing federally mandated assessments (e.g., MDS assessments) is a plus but not required; comprehensive training will be provided
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking abilities
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance
• Technologically savvy and comfortable learning new software systems for remote access and record management

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly review and analyze nursing home residents' clinical records
• Accurately answer assessment questions for each resident, following specific guidelines and protocols
• Apply clinical judgment and critical thinking to ensure the assessments reflect an accurate picture of the resident's care needs
• Utilize software systems to remotely access, review, and document clinical records securely
